The New York Guild of Handweavers (NYGH) provides inspiration, information and mutual support to anyone interested in weaving, tapestry, spinning or fiber arts.

Member Spotlight

Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings. Member skill levels range from beginners to professionals, but everyone has a love for fiber arts. Meetings are free for members.

Our monthly programs run from September through May. See the Program Calendar page for a list of speakers, activities and dates.

UPDATE: Our plan is to resume in-person meetings in Sept 2022 at the School of Visual Arts and simultaneously stream them via Zoom.

Members will be sent the Zoom link a week before each meeting. Didn't get the email link? Use the Contact Us form to request it again.

11:45am  — Arrive at SVA or log into Zoom and get connected to the meeting
12:00 pm — Show & Tell. We will send out instructions on how to display your latest creations and tell us all about it!
1:00 pm — One hour program presented by a noted speaker, followed by a brief Q&A

All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST). Use this website to find your local time.
