Frances Irwin Handweavers
Founded in the mid 1960’s to foster the art of handweaving and related fiber interests. That mission continues. We honor those who have kept this art form alive, yet there is excitement about the collaboration and exploration enjoyed by our growing membership.

Handweavers Guild of America (HGA)
Dedicated to encouraging excellence, inspiring creativity, and preserving fiber traditions through education.

Jockey Hollow Weavers
Their goal was to establish a guild for the purpose of studying and exchanging ideas and knowledge about their crafts.

Mid-Atlantic Fiber Association (MAFA)
The objectives of MAFA are to promote education in the fiber arts, to plan, organize and conduct conferences, and to facilitate communication among member guilds

NEWS - New England Weavers Seminar
NEWS will return to Smith College in 2015. Registration information will be available in late fall, 2014.

The Textile Study Group of New York
Textile Study Group of New York (TSGNY) is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting the fiber arts— the diverse professional activities, disciplines, and media that bring so much vitality and excitement to the world of fiber art today.

Our members' interests are not limited to spinning and weaving: we bead, dye, knit, tat, and engage in other explorations of the fiber arts. While our members hail from all over the New York City metropolitan area, most are from Bergen and Rockland Counties in New York State.
